Imaging and digital revolution. The evolution of camera design is part of the overall imaging revolution, sensor technology and computational processing. Hence the new camera design is simply an enclosure for the sensor, the visual processor and an attached lens. The mirrorless system camera - instead of a fixed lens - enables practically any lens with a calibrated adapter to be mounted. For this project, I have used old enlarger lenses, 16 mm film camera lenses and 35mm film slr lenses. The adjacent image is made from an old East German lens which was gifted to me in 2 pieces. In other words over a century of optical heritage interfacing with the present electronic revolution.
